Yes, you will indeed have a pleatara of restaurant options on this strip of street.....but have yet to find one that doesn't need to persuade you with their annoying cat calls....but instead, choose to invite you in with no pressure. ”
“ My favorite restaurant so far in this island for whole fish, it’s yummy and the flavor is very good. The prices are very reasonable and cheaper than other restaurants in the area. I would highly recommend the management to consider offering different Mexican salsa, we used to it in the Mexican traditional restaurants. I also got a jar of tamarindo and it was delicious. I enjoyed eating here and I have been coming here often. ”

Love love the garlic flat bread they include with the meal. I've had pizza, pasta, ceveche, fajitas. All great. Also serve breakfast. Always consistent and decent prices. ”

“ To Lourdes, Roberto, Jeronimo and the chefs at Compadre’s we say “Bravo “! Thank you for the freshest fish and the fresh squeezed lime juice margaritas! If you love whole fried fish, I had the grouper and my husband had the snapper. Both were superbly prepared. If you fancy a filet, definitely try the shrimp stuffed filet topped with cheese. But my absolute favorite was the whole fish, grilled and splayed Tikin Xic style, which is a Yucatan specialty. Heavenly. Oh, and if you can catch the fried lobster tacos as a lunch special, don’t pass them up! They’ll make you cry they’re so tender and fresh. This is an Hidalgo gem. I give it 5 stars ”
